Summary 00014: bbusters: Calibration result is not restored from EEPROM and freeze.
Description After you enter service mode and calibrate your crosshairs, it does the EEPROM write as expected once you're finished calibrating. But then when you exit service mode and restart the game, the game no longer runs properly - it just shows a blank screen w/ crosshairs after rom check.

This is not a bug, the manual says:

"If one or more gun assemblies are defective it will freeze upon power up due to improper gun aim data stored in the eprom."
"If it passes the power-up self test and then locks up, follow this procedure:"
The procedure then describes a 16 step procedure, starting with unplugging all guns etc.

If you calibrate the guns correctly it works as expected:
1) Using P1 controls fire at the indicated spots.
2) Using P2 controls fire at the indicated spots.
3) Using P3 controls fire at the indicated spots.

If you only calibrate the P1 gun or do not hit the correct spots for all guns you will get either garbage or a black screen when rebooting.

I added this info in the source, so the report can be closed or moved to BTANB.

I can confirm the mapping of all 3 allow the game to boot, so long as it's a restart (exit+restart mame) not a reset. The game's shot accuracy is, however, still offset (per 01078). Changing to BTANB.
