- As of 0.139u2, some drivers and options show "16-bit EEPROM set with 8-bit data". Check 4030.
- Haze is calling for mixing issues with *SINGLE* VDP games in toaplan2.c. Check 4044.

This I cannot confirm. Music works fine 0.136-0.136u3 and current SVN.
What MAMEUI build are you using?

i use MAMEUI32 0.136u3 with a savestate enable

Such information is important. Anything non-standard should be reported (using savestates in this case). I can confirm that since 0.136 when this driver added states, the music does not come back on a restart from -autosave.

There has been long-standing issues with this game and sound. Changes in code have sometimes broken it.

As with #03820, the YMF278B core needs save-state support...
