|Summary||04176: Speed throttle doesn't work properly in some games with artwork, -mt and -video ddraw.|
MAME doesn't throttle some games with artwork at 100% with -mt and -video ddraw. Usually the speed is at around 50% for me (Core 2 Duo).
They work at full speed without speed throttle, this is not a CPU power issue.

|Also Golly! Ghost! suffers from this problem. Additionally MAME generates pointer which is not necessary (game has it's own) and shooting is practically impossible due pointer lags.|

OT, but IIRC, the Golly Ghost crosshairs are needed for service mode alignment. After that go into the MAME menu and turn the crosshairs off.

Additional information. Game works fine if we start them without option maximize. Asteroids Deluxe works ok in window 640x480.
Also most of games now work at about 70 -80 % and hitting F10 does not disable throttling.
You may add warlords to games with slowdowns.
Tested in 145u8.
