Summary 05040: galactic, spacmiss: Sound mutes when only a few aliens are left.
Description When playing a round, the sound mutes when only a few aliens are left. If you die, the sound will come back afterwards for a very short time. If you finish the round and go to the next one, the sound will come back as normal (until a few aliens are left, again).

Note that the game speed is affected by the number of aliens on screen. If there are a few left, the game runs fast, this is possibly related to the sound muting.

whoa.. back up. hap is a Dev and he sort of has the seniority to decide to place bugs against normal rules. Normally, you'd be right to close it out but he's working on these drivers directly and it's likely something he can eventually correct.

I've rearranged the sounds, the issue no longer exists.
Hap can close it if he's satisfied.

sounds great but not genuine: all pcb recordings online have the Space Invaders sound hw, sounding the same as it was before in MAME (not counting the sound mute bug).
You should ask for feedback from Brazilian guys that played the game, maybe some pcbs had Indian Battle-ish sound hw. In that case we'd need a driver_config or something to choose between sound boards.
