Summary MESS-specific 05291: All drivers in coco.c: ORC90 emulation has no sound output
Description There is no sound output when trying to play the ORC90 demo music in the ROM. You will here music with older versions of MESS. I have tested .136b and it will play ORC90 music. I don't know which is the most recent version that works.
Steps To Reproduce 1) Mount the ORC90.rom in the cartslot of any coco2 or coco3 emulation. Probably also coco and cocoe.
2) Start emulation.
3) The ROM most likely will not autostart. With any coco other than a 3, enter
EXEC &HC000
With a coco3 or coco3h enter
EXEC &HE010
4) When you get the ORC90 screen, hit the spacebar. Then type S and hit ENTER. When the flashing cursor returns, enter P and hit ENTER.
Music should start playing.
Additional Information I believe the bug ought to be in the following two files but that is a guess.
src\mess\machine\coco_orc90.c
src\mess\machine\coco_orc90.h

I've tried to compare the source code for 0.136b and 0.149u1 regards the orc90 and there have been major changes in how the cococart and the orc90 codes interact. That may mean the problem here is related to bug report 5169. In that bug, it was not possible to install an MPI or select an ORC90. The only item that was selectable was an FDC floppy controller.

As of 0.187 this seems to work by selecting the orch90 slot option after starting the coco emulation, but not if loading the orch90 rom from the softlist.
