strange, doesn't repro for me.
Steps I took:
1) Launch mame64 (0.152 64 bit / Win 8)
2) Load golgo13 - no corruption
3) Return to UI and load g13knd - no corruption

Hm. I made sure I cleared my CFG and NVRAM files. Perhaps it might be SDL-specific? Let's see if anyone else can report in.

Sadly, I cannot duplicate with 64 or 32 bit versions of 0.152 from MAMEDEV.org. I would bring this to the attention of RB over at bannister.org forum or find other people with SDL to try to duplicate.

I don't have an account over there, does anyone here use SDLMAME that can test? I think we've established that it's an SDL issue, though. :(

Doesn't reproduce for me following Osso's steps (SVN #27673, 64-bit Fedora 20, -video opengl, NVIDIA 331.38 driver from RPMFusion on a GeForce GTX780).

Ed: please try -video soft, it's likely a bug in your OpenGL driver.

Yeah, can't reproduce as well (MAME 0.152 and SVN r27673, 64-bit openSUSE 13.1, -video opengl, NVIDIA 331.38 driver manually installed on a GeForce GTX670).

Looks like the issue I had with Capcom ZN-2 games on 64-bit SDL builds (32-bit builds were fine). Basically uninitialised debug variables being checked when they shouldn't be. Should be fixed in current SVN.

I think mahlemiut is correct, I can reproduce with -video soft. I'll mark this Confirmed, and clear it when I check it out in 0.153.

Yeah, sorry, forgot to check it in 0.153, but confirm it's fixed in 0.155. Marking as resolved.
