Summary 05574: ddragon and clones: [possible] Japanese and English manuals differs on Game Difficulty
Description I cannot confirm which one is true, but likely Japanese one probably the correct as being original.
Currently MAME uses the setting on English manual.

DIP-SW1:

Difficulty setting on JP:
sw 1,2:
OFF OFF : Normal
ON OFF : EASY * (Less Then Difficult on EN manual)
OFF ON : Slightly Hard * (Easy on EN manual)
ON ON : Hard

Same settings on EN:
sw 1,2:
OFF OFF : Normal
OFF ON : EASY * (Slightly Hard on JP manual)
ON OFF : Less Then Difficult * (Easy on JP Manual)
ON ON : Difficult (HARD)

I tried to test this settings but, It's hard to notice for me.

Also in both manuals DIP-SW2, sw 7,8 is FREE PLAY
Yes I tested this one still requires credit to play, it just makes unlimited life which mame dip also says.
I suggest this one may be renamed to FREE PLAY as (unlimited life) not (Cheat).

I tested three versions of the game (ddragon, ddragonu and ddragonw) and counted the number of elbow strikes it takes to defeat the enemies in Mission 1. The result was pretty consistent in all three versions. It seems the English manual has the correct settings and the Japanese manual is the one that is misprinted.

The elbow strikes it took me to defeat the very first enemy on each difficulty was as follow.
Easy: 3 (DIP 2-2 On)
Normal: 4 (both switches Off)
Hard: 4 (Dip 2-1 On)
Hardest: 5 (both switches On)

I got similar results with the other enemies.
