Summary MESS-specific 05651: nimbus: The nimbus OS (ms-dos3.10) crashes when the letter "p" is typed.
Description You can type the letter "p" and nothing happens usually. The nimbus OS only crashes once a floppy image has been mounted and then the letter "p" is typed. All the text on the screen fades which I guess is an indication that the system has crashed.
Steps To Reproduce start mess with nimbus and ms-dos3.10.dsk
exit the welcome screen
mount a floppy image
type "p"

Try switching back to full emulation after mounting the floppy image. All you did by typing p was pause the emulator.

That is correct. P acts as a 'pause' button when not in full keyboard emulation. This is toggled by the SCROLL LOCK button by default and, as was mentioned, if you hit p at all in partial emulation, the screen will dim and will be paused. Hit p again will resume function.

Not a bug. Closing
