Summary 05921: INP recordings fail when using automatic savestates
Description Everytime I record a new .inp file and try to playback it after playing Pit-Fighter, MAME says it cannot playback due to an out of sync issue. I tried to record a brand new .inp file several times, but the error persists.
Steps To Reproduce Enable the inp record option and play the game. Exit the game, disable the record option and enable the playback option pointing to the new .inp file created with the first gameplay. Enter the game.
Additional Information Input recording/playback won't work with automatic savestate enabled. It will give the Out Of Sync error. Maybe developers could do a workaround to prevent such thing to happen with both settings enabled, or to automatically disable one option when using the other one.

Ok, I've figured out the origin of this problem...

In order to make your .inp recording to work properly, you MUST disable savestate. With savestate ON, input recordings won't work.

Moderators please, mark this issue as SOLVED and close it.
