It seems like it's telling you to reset the system, so when I press F3 it restarts as it should.

It appears though changing values and then Save + Exit doesn't function correctly. Can anyone else please confirm?

Confirmed SDLMAME64/Linux x64

Confirmed that "Save and Exit" does not work properly; game hangs and settings are not saved to EEPROM.

I think it's meant to hang there, the 'reset system' is actually telling you to reset the system.

The not saving values is another bug.

I actually thought that Aaron's eeprom rewrite had FIXED this game, so it was promoted to working, but infact all Aaron's eeprom rewrite has done is prevent it saving anything to Eeprom, which prevents it corrupting Eeprom (previously it would corrupt the eeprom if you got a high score and no longer boot) If you reduce the write timing on the EEPROM (needed on several hyperstone games probably because the CPU timing isn't accurate) you end up back at the position where the game stops working once you get a high score.

Interestingly the recently added clone (will be in 0.163) suffers from neither of these issues, and fixes a number of other issues present in this version.

Can confirm the 'reset' is normal behaviour for the PCB, there's a reset button you're supposed to push when that message appears.

This has been closed since it is behaving as reported on PCB. Reset with SHIFT+F3 to ensure proper board reset in MAME.
