Summary 06003: centiped and clones: incorrect input control

the game code supports a joystick, I guess in theory you could hook one up.

The original pinout from the board's edge connector has hookups for a joystick, so the emulation would allow this to be something mappable for a game, even if it isn't used. I'm not convinced this is wrong.

These are features/limitations of MAME's input system (depending on how you want to look at it). The inputs are physically there on the boards, even if they're not used, so it's technically correct. Closing as per that explanation, if a dev wants to comment or reopen, feel free.
