It doesn't here. Maybe you could try to delete the nvram file and try again?
Where it does fail is in the mask rom check run from the service mode.

Yup, that was it. Deleted the NVRAM file and now it passes the self-test. Sorry about that. I'll try this in the future if I encounter similar problems. Please close this bug.
