Summary 06725: willow: [possible] Mismatch between default dip switches in ui and pcb test mode
Description The info regarding default lives and vitality doesn't match between the dip switches and the test mode of the game in world version.

As was reported at 05472, lives value is 1 and vitality is 4, but entering test mode lives are 2 and vitality is 3. Not sure if the Dip Switch values from USA applies to the world version...
Steps To Reproduce Enter Dip switches and change Game mode from game to test. You'll see the diference.

I'm not seeing it at all. I tested all sets for willow and they all show 1-4 in Test mode and 1-4 in the DIP menu as shown in my snap. I used F2 to enter Test Mode, not the DIP.
Not sure quite what is going on here. There is no way to start the game while in Test Mode, is there?

Accesing Test mode by F2 matches the Dip values, but accesing by Game mode doesn't match. What I want to know now is if the world values are different from the USA. There are several willow pcb vids on youtube, but each one has differents values for lives and vitality.

If you view the source, you can see how the Test Mode (Debug) DIP is to be used and it sounds like it functions as expected. I followed the instruction and tried a couple Debug dips out and they worked as labeled, started on a later level and all the dips seem to have on the fly function while I play.

I don't see how any of this can be avoided. The game itself doesn't change the test screen based on the mode selected.
I'll label it possible until actual PCB verification.
