Summary	08398: apple3: Softcard /// CP/M version 2.21 runs very slowly
Description	CP/M 2.20 runs just fine on the Apple 3 with a Microsoft Softcard /// in a slot. However, the update to 2.21 incorporated changes that appears to slow to a crawl on mame, but not on real hardware. There is about a 1/2 second delay between typing characters and them appearing on the screen. Any program that displays lines of text on the screen seems to pause between lines.
Steps To Reproduce	mame apple3 -skip_gameinfo -sl4 softcard3 -flop1 e:\apple3\A3CPM221MASTER.dsk Try some commands, CAT, DIR, CONFIG and notice the slowness. I am attaching the (hard to find on the internet) A3CPM221MASTER.dsk for testing purposes,

Could you provide the image for this report via MAMEDEV's submission email listed at the site linked below and note the MT REPORT number and circumstances as well? https://wiki.mamedev.org/index.php/Submitting_Source_Code As you mentioned, the available 2.2 version seems to boot and function properly and quick search has not discovered 2.21 for testing.
