Summary | 08725: recalh: Exiting service menu auto-increments coin counters
Description |
When exiting this games service mode the coin counters will auto-increment. Sometimes both add 1 and sometimes 1 gets added to Coin A and 2 get added to Coin B, and other times no coins are added to Coin A but Coin B increases. Also the first coin inserted with either 5 or 6 after leaving service mode will add a credit to the game but the counters will be unaffected until another coin is inserted. Prototype bugs or something real going on here? |
||||
Steps To Reproduce |
1. Run recalh 2. Press F2, then TAB to Bookkeeping Info to view the current counter totals. 3. Exit service mode and then view the counter totals again. One or both should have increased by at least 1. 4. Wait until the title screen and add a credit with 5 and then 6. View the counters again and they will not have changed, but 2 credits should show on the game screen. 5. Press 5 and 6 again, and view the counter totals one more time. They should have each increased by 1 this time. |
||||
Additional Information | Randomly the counters will auto-increment the very first time the game is run (no cfg or nvram files), and that is what got my attention initially.
