Summary | 08917: apple2, apple2p: Shift key mod seems to be reversed
Description | The Shift key mod emulation seems to work in reverse: when Shift is pressed, emulated software thinks it isn't, and vice versa.
Steps To Reproduce |
1. Enable the Shift key mod in Machine Configuration. 2. In Slot Devices, insert the Sup'R'Terminal into Slot 3. 3. Restart the machine. 4. Start BASIC (Ctrl+B, Enter) if necessary. 5. Enter PR#3 to activate the Sup'R'Terminal. 6. Press Ctrl+A and Ctrl+V (this activates lowercase typing and Shift key mod support). 7. Type in some letters with the Shift key pressed and not pressed. The letters will come out as lowercase when Shift is pressed and uppercase when it isn't. |
||||
Additional Information | Similar behavior can also be seen in Apple Writer, so it's not just Sup'R'Terminal being weird.

I can confirm what you said, but since I know nothing about the Apple, I cannot say if the behaviour is right or wrong. The Apple expert in the team should decide. |
