Summary 05085: videopin: pinball mechanical parts not visible with artwork and GDI
Description Recently added artwork does not work correctly when ddraw is enabled - missing "mechanical" parts of fliper.
In D3D everything is ok.

Also screenshot from DDRAW missing those parts (that's weird).
Steps To Reproduce
Additional Information Removed reference to DDRAW because it's been removed from MAME. However, the problem exists with GDI, so changed summary to that.

Played with this today. In the LAY file, the screen has an alpha channel of 0.7. Setting this to 1.0, or deleting that line, "fixes" the problem.

Also... if backdrops are simply disabled, then the screen is visible... almost like it's being displayed behind the backdrop?

It seems like ddraw just doesn't like transparencies... similar to Gypsy Juggler/Dead Eye.

But then, if you use the external artwork for Gee Bee... it works fine. ???
