|Summary||06621: New load/save state menu does not respect -statename|
|Description||New load/save state menu does not respect -statename|
|Steps To Reproduce||
./mame64 snes -cart smasu:cart -statename %g/%d_cart
Save with Shift+F7 and for example 3, then F7 to load and you don't see the saved state.
Instead you see the states from %g. But the state is correctly saved under sta/snes/smasu/3.sta.
think the problem occured with "Reintroduced a state save menu, take two (#2358)"

The commit you have chosen did not become active until the current cycle (it went in during the freeze).
Are you sure the problem exists in the official 0.187 release?

No, the problem started with the new menu and did not exist with the official 0.187.
Which version should i choose then?

|MameTesters is only for logging bugs that existed in official releases, not interm WIP code. I'll suspend this for now but let the person know of the issue of it not looking at statename params when producing the save state list.|
