Description I own a Simpsons pcb and I think that at 56Hz it does look a bit more like the real thing, if you look at the bit when the fireman is firing his extinguisher, the smoke's animation is a little smoother.

Actually, I don't own a Simpsons PCB. This report was taken from MAMEWorld message board where an user was complaining about some discrepancies between his PCB and MAME (animations were not in sync) and I suggested him to try to modify the refresh rate using the sliders. He noticed, IIRC, that with a refresh of 56-57 Hz things improved.

I'm going to close this. In essence, it's a parent/duplicate of the other one. With the refresh change from readings, things should be better.
