Summary 02999: taotaidoa: need more 3 buttons
Description taotaida has 6 buttons(punch1,2,3+kick1,2,3)
but now taotaida in mame has only 3 buttons(punch1,2,3)

(note: taotaido has 2buttons,it's correct.)

taotaido is prototype version,and taotaida is release version.

Your assumptions about the buttons make sense. While the test screen shows 3 buttons - all of them do a punch attack in game. Logically, 3 more should be added for kick attacks. I'll confirm.

If the parent is currently a prototype version then that means the sets should be swapped? I guess that should be filed as a separate bug if there's evidence for it.

I'm looking for evidences, but I'm not able to read japanese. Do you see proof of the fact that the parent is a proto in the linked page (e.g. mentions of the fact that only a proto version has 2 buttons while the final version has 6)?
