Version 0.130 Fixed in Version Build
Fixed in Git Commit Github Pull Request #
Summary 03027: revx : The Controls for target of gun keeps going back to the center of the screen and stays there. Happens in Gun Caliberation also.
Description I am having problems with the controls for the arcade game Revolution X. It seems like it's pretty buggy. Everytime I try moving the target of the gun, the target keeps going back the the center of the screen and it stays there. Even when I try to caliberate the target of the gun, it still does the same thing making it hard for me caliberate the target of the gun properly.

Possible Culprit?
Fixed Analog settings so Digital and Autocenter Speeds are applied
properly in real time. Fixed Digital Speed = 0 so it increments in
single steps per button press. [Derrick Renaud]

If there are other gun games showing the same auto center with analog control behavior that differs from before - post them here.

For a workaround, setting 0 for AD Stick X/Y Auto Center Speeds, it can be fixed.

georgc3,

In the future, be sure to test bugs you find on the command-line version before reporting. While the UIFX build will likely be the same in behavior as the normal builds, it isn't always since it's modifies a fair amount of drivers and adds functionality that might cause the very bug in question. Thank you.

Okay, I just tested revx on the command-line version. It is giving me the exact same problem. So, I took Fujix's advice to the set 0 for AD Stick X/Y Auto Center Speeds, and it was fixed. I also tested a gun game called Turbo Sub on the command-line version. That game also has the exact same problem as revx. I had to do the same thing just like I did in revx.

Bear in mind that Revolution X and similar style games did not actually use lightguns. The guns were basically analog joysticks and it's possible that some were supposed to auto-centre.

Turbo Sub used a yoke controller and is supposed to auto-centre.
