Summary 04411: orunners, orunnersu, titlef, titlefu: Year is wrong.
Description Both games' title screen prints "1992", but both games were released in March/May 1993, according to the ROMs.

The reason there would be disputing dates elsewhere in code could be one of many reasons, none of those would change the fact that the game was original released in 1992. In almost all cases, for original games (clones might differ), MAME uses what the Title Screen copyright date shows. It's considered the most accurate and best source of documentation. There are other trade journals and internal publications which may be used to counteract this 'rule', but it rarely happens. Any dates you see elsewhere can only cloud the issue - it's best to have a never-fail type of documentation. The Title Screen by in large gives us that.

There is therefore nothing wrong with these games from a documentation standpoint. Closing.
