You noted verified with original - you have some screenshots/video from actual hardware to support this claim?

Maybe in the photos can not be seen well, but in other emulators "Kawaks" this bug is not present.

You aren't seeing it in your photo because it's off screen. Notice that the 1UP text is cut off from your display meaning we can't see what's really happening on the left side. If you can adjust the picture in such a way to show you the whole image, I'm pretty sure you'll see the bar appear.

KAWAKS, if I remember, tweaks the screen size so that things like that (bars of graphics on the left and or right sides) are not shown and even MAME 'used' to stretch the screen to do this. When Neo-Geo was last rewritten (about 0.116 timeframe), these boarders were left unaltered for accuracy reasons. Simply use MAME's slider controls to adjust the screen sides so you do not see this garbage which in nearly every case is original behavior.

This is one of the oldest "not a bug"s.

Check neogeo.c source note at http://mamedev.org/source/src/mame/drivers/neogeo.c.html
  112 Confirmed non-bugs:
  113
114 * Bad zooming in the Kof2003 bootlegs - this is what happens
115 if you try and use the normal bios with a pcb set, it
116 looks like the bootleggers didn't care.
117 * Glitches at the edges of the screen - the real hardware
118 can display 320x240 but most of the games seem designed
119 to work with a width of 304, some less.
120 * Distorted jumping sound in Nightmare in the Dark
121 * Ninja Combat sometimes glitches
Your last screenshot just indicates the left edge of the display are is cropped for 8 pixels as stated in the source code. If you wish to hide the rectangle area, please chose the cropped screen option from the video option menu.

Kawaks can't be a reference for proper emulation by any possibility. MAME emulates real machines, not Kawaks.
