I can confirm this issue loading from softlist as well as using the Darkwater image for this game.

As it stands though, this machine is marked NOT WORKING

However, since the attached screen has such a specific CPU error, it could be argued that this information could possibly help progress of the development.

I'll leave it be so others can have a look at this information.

the game gives the same error with clean NVRAM.

i attached my NVRAM's, where the game works fine, both Japanese and USA versions.

I think the game just expects the system NVRAM to be formatted, and doesn't fail gracefully if it isn't.

some games will auto-format it if it isn't, others will tell you to go into the menu and format it, so if you played another game before this the nvram might be valid due to that.
