| Description | In some systems, when you capture an avi output, the captured area is smaller or distorted regarding the area of the game when playing without capture video. | ||||

          Load a game with Record Avi output  at MAMEUI or MESSUI in some systems like: cpc464 and clones genesis and clones snes and clones megatech and megaplay genesis based systems nintendo supersystem  |

            Snapshots and AVI always default to 1:1, ie: the actual resolution used by the system. You can use -snapsize to force a specific resolution that you wish to use and MAME will stretch or shrink the output to that size.  |

            As mentioned, the internal resolutions are used to display 1:1 in snapshots and videos unless otherwise specified. This is not a bug but a design of the system to ensure data is presented accurately. Closing as this is intended behavior.  |
