| Description |
Cliff Hanger has the option for two Screen Effects, 0 and 1 (accessed from tab / slider menu). Windows 0, Screen Effect 1 affects the high score table, programmers credits, and instructions display. When Windows 0, Screen Effect 1 is set to something like 'default', the text screens push off to the right and don't center. It is necessary to set Windows 0, Screen Effect 1 to 'None' to get the three text screens centered. |

| Steps To Reproduce |
No .ini necessary, take it out of the picture with -norc. 1. mame cliffhgr -norc -video bgfx -bgfx_screen_chains default,default (produces the problem with the shifted text) 2. Hit insert to FF to the blue text screens, hiscore, credits, instructions 3. mame cliffhgr -norc -video bgfx -bgfx_screen_chains default,none (text is now centered) 4. Hit insert to FF to the blue text screens, hiscore, credits, instructions alternatively: 1. mame cliffhgr -norc -video bgfx -bgfx_screen_chains default,default (observe shifted text) 2. Hit insert to FF to one of the shifted blue text screens and pause. 3. Hit tab, slider control 4. Alter Window 0, Screen 1 effect to none 5. Observe text come back into center |

Repro in release 0.262 and tip of master 0.262 (mame0262-389-gb316d47bbb7). Note: 'mame.exe cliffhgr -norc -video d3d' is centered (-nohlsl being used by default) |
