Summary | 01433: marvins: If you play player 2, the maze remains unchanged. | ||||
Description |
If you play Marvin's Maze using player 2, the maze remains unchanged when tou take a gem or step onto the moving platforms. The cpu detects the changes but the video isn't updated, making the game very difficult to play. 1. start a 2P game 2. partially clean the maze from dots, energizers & alienoids 3. let 1P die when 2P starts his round, the maze will still be partially cleaned (with missing dots & energizers), i.e. the 1P graphics is still shown. but if you move the character to the point where an energizer was, it will still 'eat' it (even if it's invisible on screen, because the 1P graphics is shown): you can notice that because the character can now shot against the 'robonoids' summing up: it seems that the graphics should be redrawn when the 2P starts to play (the CPU acts like the maze is populated back of dots & energizer), but MAME currently doesn't do that. |
