Summary | 01442: wwfsstar: The OKI6295 playback frequency is too high. | ||||
Description |
The OKI6295 playback frequency is too high on WWF Superstars (wwfsstar.c) as currently emulated by MAME. The video at the following link, http://arcadeboards.exterior-coatings.com/ab/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=24 makes it pretty obvious if you listen to the speech before the wrestling begins and also the crowd noise after one of the wrestlers is knocked down. MAME is currently running the chip at 1.122mhz but it seems the correct frequency is probably 1.056mhz (internally divided down to 8000hz) as 1mhz is too low. Exact speed needs verifying on a real pcb of course. |
