Summary | 00176: blkhole, azurian, warofbug, omega: Explosion sound doesn't cut off after you get hit. | ||||
Description |
Explosion sound doesn't cut off after you get hit. It lasts until (depending on the game) you start another game or reset. This does not happen in galaxian (and its plethora of clones) or batman2. Update: The sound bug also happens in scramblb (lasts until the screen updates with your new ship, but stays at the end of the game) and skybase (lasts until the screen updates with your new ship). Along with the other games I mentioned, that's it. Moon Cresta (and its clones) and King & Balloon seem to be unaffected. These and the others are the only games in galaxian.c that use that explosion sample (obviously the "space shooter" games). Update: frogg exhibits the same "explosion sample" bug as the other game mentioned in that report. This happens when Frog(ger) gets hit by a car, and it doesn't cut off until you reset. |
