Summary 02507: dstage, ddr2m: Music does not play, causing the game to loop when starting a game
Description Music does not play, causing the game to loop after you select your track.
Steps To Reproduce Start dstage, initialize using test button, wait, when the game starts there will be the konami sound but no intro music, insert coins, select a song and watch the game loop.

I tried Dancing Stage with a fresh flashram and all sounds and the music seemed to play as good as my slow computer would allow (gets as high as 90% or so during game w/frameskip). I played the simple song and completed the first stage. Didn't seem like there was anything missing.

Is it possible you have a corrupt CHD?

I don't have the other sets to test, sorry. Hopefully someone else can test these and post results on your listed sets.

Deleted mame.ini and the nvram folder and everything works again. Strange considering I did everything exactly as before.

I can no longer reproduce this bug
