Summary | 02677: eprom, eprom2: missing graphical brightness effect, verified on real machine w/video
Description |
There is a missing brightness control effect used by the game whenever you throw a switch which activates the electro-stairs anywhere in the game. When you do so, the whole screen is supposed to dim to about 1/4 brightness, then after about 3/4 of a second or so go back to 1/2 brightness, after another 1/4 of a second goes to 3/4 brightness, and then after another 1/4 a second goes back to normal. |
||||
Steps To Reproduce | Throw any switch which activates electro-stairs in the game. If the whole screen does NOT dim, the bug is present.
Additional Information |
Verified/videoed on machine belonging to Jeff Anderson/Videotopia at vgXpo '08 The missing effect probably also exists on other games which share this hardware or the klax.c klax hardware which is derived from this one. |
