Summary 03277: batrider & clones: If you select freeplay, hit score, music & sound dips are inverted vs MAME tab
Description when you select freeplay in service mode, the OSD settings for
- hit score
- music
- sound effects

they're inverted vs the dipswitches menu from MAME
Steps To Reproduce put service mode ON in mame TAB
select dipswitches settings
pass next 2 tests by pressing 1up+2up start
press MAME TAB then select freeplay in coin A

I don't understand exactly what the problem is:

1st: there is neither hit score nor music dipswitches. and this does not help the understanding
2nd: the demo sound dip (assuming this is the sound dip cited in the report) does not seems inverted at all

the only problems I see (and I'll fix it as soon as I understand if the original report was about this or if other issues are present as well) is that the 3rd/5th dip are switched and that High/Low values are switched as well.

am I missing anything else?

IIRC the Japan sets have inverted dips compared to the non-japan sets. I thought I made a note of this in the driver and fixed it, although I could be mistaken.

Those settings appear only when you set "Free Play" for "Coin A" and DIPs for "Coin B" are used for "Hit Score", "Music" and "Sound Effect".
I confirmed the conditional DIP settings for them are inverted.

Well, whoever fixes it should keep in mind that the current code is correct for at least some of the sets.

yeah, I indeed tested one of the sets for which everything was ok.

Settings were actually wrong for all these games (while they were correct for bkraid). I guess I tested the wrong game initially or there was some conflicting cfg file at my end.

However, it is now fixed (I tested all the sets).

If any oddity is still present, please post here after u4 is out
