Summary 03720: speedfrk, wotw, wotwc: Incomplete sound samples implementation
Description War of the Worlds
1. The sound of the player being removed and replaced is the same sound as the opening drone sound from Star Castle with the pitch changing from high to low. Whatever code was written for Star Castle needs to be done for WOTW

2. The tripod sounds often does not stop when the game ends.

3. The shields sound is not working for some reason.
The shields callout is there, but it does not play.

4. The "thrust" is not used by WOTW and should be removed from the driver

Speed Freak
Currently has 1 sound effect coded.
The game has 4 different sounds.
Steps To Reproduce Use provided samples and play.
Additional Information Sound samples provided with examples to be removed later.

Note that all these games are either marked NO SOUND or SOUND NOT 100%. Adding the samples help but if it's within your power, please get some video recordings and or in-game audio recordings so there can be further support for making these samples work properly. Thank you.

I will have video of Speed Freak in 1 month.

WOTW we had to play blind much to the annoyance of the owner.
Maybe by the time I return he will have the monitor fixed.

He explained what was happening on the screen and the drivers currently support samples.

I've posted gameplay samples for now above.
Speed Freak: Using a microphone, so you can hear the car being shifted.
WOTW: Line Out: direct connection to the speaker.

This hack that converts a star castle sound board to War of the Worlds may be of use.

This is now obsolete as for 0.223 the driver doesn't use samples anymore.
