From the source: All games use a 6502 for sound (some are encrypted), all games except Cobracom use an Intel 8751 for protection & coinage. For these games the coinage dip switch is not currently supported, they are fixed at 1 coin 1 credit. The issue described looks like a related issue: incomplete emulation of the 8751 |

If you invert the vblank bit polarity the continue feature works but then game's too slow. Also if you have a 2 player game and either gets a game over game completely freezes for a moment. MCU dump might help but it could be a race condition or even a btanb. |

Wanted to drop a comment on this item. Continue DOES work, but only in 2P games. In 1P games no button seemed to work to allow me to continue. |

I made a brief video showcasing this problem exactly: Continue seems to work for 2P when 1 person is dead, but also when both players are dead. When both players are dead the other player gets a countdown before they are able to continue. |
