Summary 04348: svolley, svolleyk, svolleyu: Arrow and confettis missing / Probable missing layer
Description When receiving the ball, an arrow indicates where the ball is going to hit the ground, it greatly simplifies the gameplay. Bug report n°01109 says the arrow is visible during the first tournament, i can say it's no longer the case.

The arrow never appears during any game on any set of the game. Its absence greatly compromises the gameplay and makes it almost unplayable. This bug has been confirmed as I do have the original PCB (US set) to compare. The arrows are always present up to the last game while they never appear in the current emulated game.

A graphic layer must be missing. Another indication of this is that another graphic element is missing from the game. When a player makes a winning point, the team starts to cheer and confettis seems to fly around them. You can see it in the attached video. This layer of confettis is also missing from the emulated game.

Supporting documents (a picture of the PCB, picture of the arrow in use) or any other evidence besides words would go a long way to validate the claims. If there is indeed missing graphics, some screenshots or pictures of the game in action are crucial in assisting developers fix the issue.

Would you upload screenshots or movie of your working PCB? They will be helpful for developers.
If one of the graphic layer is missing, other graphical elements could be missing.

Reminder sent to: Julien416

Julien, please check your post again.

This issue has been seen since the game was supported, nobody have even seen the game working correctly in MAME. Any graphical information of the real pcb will help developers.

Hello Guys,

I will try to upload a picture of the PCB as well as videos and pictures of the game running today.

This will obviously add some weight to my claims.

A little follow up about a missing layer, you can see at 0:14 on the video, that when there is a winning spike, some confettis comes on the cheering team.

This layer of flying and colorful confettis is missing from the emulated game.
