Description |
3 mooncresta bootlegs: Since 36b16, demo sequence is way out in left. In older versions, when no.1 with no.2 fighter tries to dock no.3, 1+2 crashes on no.3. And this is correct arcade behaviour. After 36b16, 1+2 doesn't crash on no.3 and wanders to the bottom of the screen. This is the same behaviour as SPARCADE and Galemu which use 256x256 resolution not 254x224. So I guess the resolution for these games might have changed to 256x256 in MAME. btw MAME's game info says the resolution is 256x224. Follow-up by Tafoid in 0.116: The 3 bootlegs listed (mooncrsb, mooncrs2, mooncrs3) still exhibit the missed 2+3 ship merge. Sets (mooncrsa, mooncrsx) do this as well. Set (smooncrs), on the other hand, has the crash as described in report as correct arcade behaviour. None of the other tested sets have that 2+3 ship docking sequence in demo. |
