Summary | 06203: [REQUEST] Configurable succession of ROM metadata (.dats and various snapshots) | ||||
Description |
It would probably be easy to add parameters in ui.ini to set (a) in what succession should dats and various snapshots be displayed, (b) IF the user wants them to be displayed. In other words something like that: dat_sequence history, mameinfo[,blah blah] snap_sequence snap, bosses, cabinets[,blah blah] ...obviously anything not included in the list, will not be displayed. If I am to extend this request a bit more, this would be nice too: snap_timeout 3 snap_cycle 10 ...where it would mean that if UI list is not moved for 3 seconds, it should start cycling between different snaps (cabinets etc.) every 10 seconds. Moving the list should revert back to the last snap type selected by user (to scroll between games). (Note this is mirror to #841 in GitHub - when I realized GitHub might not be the place for feature requests) |
