Summary | 06686: All TRS-80 Color Computer (Coco) drivers: Allow Becker Port Interface host IP address and/or port to be configurable | ||||
Description |
It appears that MAME has the Becker Port host IP address hardcoded for 127.0.0.1 (localhost) and port set for 65504. If the IP address could be changed, a remote Drivewire server could be accessed. In addition, if the port could be changed, now you could access a different instance of Drivewire running on the same host. I'm unaware of any official way to request these options for the Becker Port interfaces, so I'm submitting this here. This would apply to all platforms, OS's and builds of MAME. Thank you! |

I would agree that this would be a good feature to allow the IP address and port # to be allowed to be changed via both UI options and command line arguments. This would allow use on DriveWire 4 Server's which have multiple instances running for run multiple connections from multiple types of devices. |

The IP address and Port are now configurable. Nominate for closure. |
