Summary | 07061: llander: no indicator about game selection | ||||
Description |
07060: llander: no indicator about game selection Description Luner Lander has four user selectable game modes. Pressing the select button scrolls through them and a light on the control panel indicates the selection. In mame we have no idea what mode the game is in. Unable to add to previous case. The artwork is great but this gameplay function should be available without artwork. Shouldn't have to reduce active screen area for artwork. Something similar to how pole position indicates high/low gear. |

I'm sure there is a way to make some bare bones layout, but it will effect emulated screen size no matter how you slice it. Shifters are overlayed on the screen - something like this would be best served not overlaying the screen. A best example I was told to implement this would be along the lines that Spy Hunter is implemented. Anyway, I'll acknowledge this request. In the future, please do not abuse the feature tag like this based on a closed report. In the end MAME functions all inputs as effected and the leds/bezel/control panel enhancements are generally best handled externally. |
