I assume that it has to do with the current ROMs marked as bad dumps but, just so that it's documented somewhere, here's a video of the original PCB, playing the missing sound effects:

Oddly, the comet doesn't play a sound effect for some reason. May be a bug due to it appearing right after the player recovers from a hit?

|One of I'm sure many space invader hardware games which don't have in MAME unique discrete setups and simply uses what Space Invaders uses.|

Nothing to do with that.
Correct sounds have been added.
