Summary 07312: poundfor: X/Y Axxis don't work properly
Description X/Y Axxis don't work properly

Trackball controls feels very rough and clumsy. In fact they get worse during gameplay ending up not working at all. It takes less than 5 minutes of gameplay to reach this state. No matter you use keyboard, analog stick or mouse.

Regression is mame 0.186, in which the controls were modified to fix 00599 ("You can't move the arrows on the menu screens to choose the other boxer or game"). Yes, that issue was fixed, but the gameplay turned nearly unplayable.
Steps To Reproduce Just compare gameplay in mame 0.185 where it played right (except for moving the arrows on screens using keyboard, 00599) with mame 0.186 gameplay.

This is a funny one. It may require some adjustment to digital speed and/or sensitivity but it does work albeit not reliably with default settings.

I don't agree. I've tested the game adjsting sensitivity/digital and the result is the same: Unplayable
It worked fine in 0.185 and backwards.

I agree with MetalGod.
I tried it with a trackball and at first it works well but after a while the controls lockup and become unresponsive.
I'm pretty confident that it has nothing to do with the sensitivity settings.
