Summary 07567: ddrkids: Songs eventually goes Off-Sync with the Rhythm.
Description I have noticed that in Dance Dance Revolution Kids, the songs will eventually go off-sync with the rhythm, is this because the game suposted to be at 59.94 FPS?

I have found a semi-fix for it tho, Turn On the Cheats, Launch the Game, press TAB and go to the Slider Options, adjust the Overclock :ymz sound by pressing Right 4 times without holding CTRL and/or ALT and it should sync better with the Songs.
If incase you messed up counting, press Enter to reset back to it's original 100%.

In my case, the Overclock :ymz sound should be at 100.4%
Steps To Reproduce This is only by playing the game, the semi-fix for it is to turn on the cheats, start the game, go to the Slider options and adjust the Overclock :ymz sound, press right 4 times without holding CTRL and/or ALT.
If incase you messed up counting, press Enter to reset back to it's original 100%.
Additional Information I tried this with the first song wich i will asume that the same problem will still be present for the other songs, making the harder ones be even more harder.

I've rechecked everything, but at this point I have no good ideas why happens this issue.
for sure frame rate and YMZ clock are correct, but actual speed of main CPU should be significant slower than typical SuperH CPUs at this clock, because of disabled caches in this game.

Enabled cheats and played with the refresh rate as I felt this had the same issue as PCSX running DDR titles without taking into account progressive scan. Sure enough, 60Hz was too fast while 50Hz was too slow. Somewhere between 52-55Hz made the chart match up with the tracks to an extent but I feel there would still be some decimal points that would need to be figured out to get proper sync.

EDIT: OH okay hardware specs state that the screen runs at 55Hz so framerate should be around that region (maybe 54.99?)

Okay after a few plays in ddrkids while messing with the refresh rates, it seems that 55-56Hz is the sweet spot (56Hz worked for me IMO).

Now my other issue is the game somehow having the occasional issue where a simultaneous press (L+R or U+D for example) would result in a miss. Either that's with the game itself or how MAME's handling the inputs I am not sure.
