Summary 07884: travrusa: Sound plays randomly when you jump rivers using the broken bridge
Description When you jump across rivers using the small broken bridge, the jumping sound plays randomly instead of playing all the time. It seems to be a regression introduced after the major sound system rewrite a couple of versions before.
Steps To Reproduce Play the game and try to use the broken bridge to jump across rivers. Sometimes it will play the jumping sound and sometimes it won't play any sound.

I tried a bit with 0.229 and it always reproduce the sound at the first broken bridge in the second level. Did you refer to this bridge or another?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that there are several broken bridges across the desert stages. So, you must try to jump on at least 3 or 4 of them at full throttle to see that most of them won't reproduce the jump sound effect.

Is this what you mean? (taken from original pcb). This happens in 4:02, he jumps-cross the bridge and the sound is present.

In 4:24 there's another jump and the sound doesn't trigger, so MAME emulation is loyal to the original machine and we can close this report as BTANB

If it happens on a real pcb as well, then this is not an emulation issue. Thank you for the pcb video reference.

Admin please, close this report.
