Summary | 08060: sfrush: Unreliable network test in boot code 1.0 - btanb
Description | The network test for this specific boot program version will always say "TRYING" no matter what even on original hardware if you connect more than one machine and put them all in network test. In game, they all will communicate/network fine.
Steps To Reproduce | |||||
Additional Information | I helped with three original San Francisco Rush machines at boot code 1.0 recently with networking and controls at an arcade and put them all in network test to verify if they were all stuck at "TRYING" or not. Being that this was Atari's first experience with ethernet hardware, they must have encountered some bugs along the way. This was quickly corrected in boot code 1.06A where network tests function properly.
