Summary 08179: galaxygn: Galaxy Gunners and Fantasy Land - Yamaha YM2151 Sound Frequency pitch incorrect? Have youtube video of PCB
Description I found a video of a Galaxy Gunners and Fantasy Land PCB on youtube. Sounds like the frequency setting on the Yamaha chip is too low anyone else have a PCB? Unfortunately the audio volume is too low on youtube. It sounds like it is off by 30% -33% pitch match test with -debug overclock ymsnd 133%
Maybe the YM2151 OPM needs to be at 4MHZ? Probably all the games on that hardware driver have the wrong frequency.

ym2151_device &ymsnd(YM2151(config, "ymsnd", 3000000));
ymsnd.irq_handler().set(FUNC(fantland_state::galaxygn_sound_irq));

In the following link there's a Galaxy Gunners PCB where the visible XTAL in the audio section is 8 MHz. So maybe 8 MHz / 2 for the YM2151?

It sounds just like the video by setting sound clock at 133%.
