Another Space Demon video for confirmation here: Importantly, this Epson melody IC does NOT appear to be on an original Nintendo Space Firebird as it doesn't play... ...and it doesn't show up on the Sega/Gremlin schematics either (used in both videos above - seems the OP of the first one can't find the 7910): https://archive.org/details/ArcadeGameManualSpacefirebird/page/n35/mode/2up?view=theater If it's like the other 7910E chips, it may need to be decapped, per the notes in phoenix.cpp. |
