| Summary | 08647: gamegear and clones: Wrong aspect ratio (only square pixel ratio available) | ||||
| Description | The Game Gear had a 4:3 screen, but MAME only allows for 10:9 (square pixels) aspect ratio. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Just load any Game Gear game. | ||||
| Additional Information | Due to the (shut down) issue #8603, it's currently also not possible to get a proper full screen 4:3 picture in this driver, as stretching the image horizontally will count as "stretching inside a monitor with the current aspect ratio", rather than using all the available screen. | ||||
