Steps To Reproduce -Once the initial tests end, press F2 to enter the Test Menu.
-Enter the Volume Adjustments menu
-Enter "Master Volume" or "Attract Mode Volume"
-A test music track will start playing, but moving the value up and down won't change its volume.
Additional Information The modified volume levels seem to be applied correctly only after resetting the game.

I couldn't hear any sound while adjusting the volume (bad ears), however the new sound level was applied upon exiting test mode - no need for reset.

I do not know if this report is an emulation bug - perhaps it's normal.

"I couldn't hear any sound while adjusting the volume (bad ears)"
Yeah, it also seems to play at a very low volume by default.

Is this different to previous mame versions? Is there actual evidence from a real machine to back this up? I don't understand how this is "Confirmed" without proof.

Confirmed only indicates that by following the procedure given, that the symptoms can be confirmed. That is all.

It doesn't indicate there's a regression or something wrong. Those who are familiar with the game and driver will have to figure that out.

Flagged "Possible" until verified from actual arcade PCB.
