Summary 08862: mtchxl6k: Starting Trivia Whiz or Power Quiz causes emulated game to crash
Description After selecting any category for the quiz games, the emulated game program crashes to ROM-DOS, which re-runs the script to copy the game binaries and start the game again.
Steps To Reproduce 1. Start the system (it's easiest to use "mame mtchxl6k -window -nomouse -nolightgun" so you can use your mouse or touchscreen to play)
2. Wait for the system to boot and the game to reach the menu
3. Touch a category containing the Trivia Whiz or Power Quiz game (Erotic, Quiz & Word, or New Games)
4. Touch Trivia Whiz or Power Quiz
5. Insert a coin
6. Touch the one player start button (silhouette of a single person, on the lower right)
7. Wait for the game to load
8. For Power Quiz, touch the Start button (skip this step for Trivia Whiz)
9. Touch any category

I had to use -mouse , otherwise the mouse was ignored entirely. Is a specific mouseprovider needed?

Using the keys to move the crosshairs is far too slow to be usable.

Full mouse integration requires external artwork and updated layout plugin for 0.265, but it’s included in current master. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

The crash happens as far back as when mtchxl6k was first added in 0.186, but the quiz games work in mtchxl6ko. Maybe an issue with protection? Or possibly a bad dump?
