Summary	08892: bmcbowl: [possible] closing and reopen makes the game return to the game title
Description	In the game when you close the mame and opening will returned in the game title idk if #define NVRAM_HACK can overwrite nvram when closing. I couldn't find videos of Real hardware. unpreserved taiwan version only the taiwan version seem to not have issues of the nvram it appears where you played at 7 https://www.facebook.com/100024337217054/videos/2061632574001468/
Steps To Reproduce	Set DSW2 6 to on insert coin and plays then exit the mame then close. opening select bmcbowl after the game start where you played at 7 will gone and return to title games

No.22234 Robbbert Senior Tester Jul 20, 2024, 11:07	It seems you mean when the machine is restarted your credits are gone. So in other words you start the game, insert a coin (gives 10 credits), you bowl one frame (now you have 7 credits), then you quit. Many games reset credits when switched off. You will need to prove otherwise.

There's a note in the driver: Game is almost playable, especially with NVRAM_HACK (undefine it to get real nvram access, but sometimes it's impossible to get back to title screen ).

Credit and scoring display will be keep like the Taiwanese version at facebook video link. if set dsw2 6. scoring display will not keep. Close this report for now.
